Master of Science in Child Development
In addition to the core child development master’s curriculum, you will take four concentration courses and complete an internship focusing on developing the practice and reflection skills necessary to work with children with special needs and their families.

In this course, you will examine the impact of disability on families who have young children (newborn through age 5) with special needs.
S412 2 credit hours
In this course, you will gain a basic understanding of assessment of young children who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities from birth through age 5.
