Applying for Erikson financial aid and scholarships, is simple. The only form you need to complete is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can complete the FAFSA online at . But as long as you apply for financial aid by the established deadlines each year, you’ll receive at least the same amount as the previous year.
If you are awarded a scholarship, we promise to spell out in writing the amount of scholarship amount for each year that you are enrolled in your program. And there is no work or service requirement attached to our scholarship awards.

Erikson participates in the Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) scholarship program. Administered through the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, these scholarships are available only to Illinois residents seeking initial teacher licensure. The MTI scholarship is limited to minority students. Both programs require recipients to sign a commitment to teach in Illinois and a promissory note. If the teaching commitment is not fulfilled, the scholarship is subject to repayment with interest.

TEACH Grant recipients agree to teach for at least four years within eight years of finishing their degree program and to teach high-need subjects in designated schools that serve low-income students. If you do not complete the four-year teaching obligation, your grant will convert to an Unsubsidized loan, which you will have to repay with interest calculated back to the date the funds were disbursed.
